Faculty Office Home Directory in Windows
- For preconfigured desktops support staff have
automated this process, refer to N:

with username, password, logon to: INFORMATICS.

In the linux labs your home directory space
is mounted automatically.
Virtual Machine Guest
Set your ethernet connection to NAT. Restart the virtual
machine, then use the manual process for windows
to map your home directory to N:.
Access Your Unix Home
Directory in Windows - 150MB
- Right Click on My Computer,
select Map Network Drive
- Drive: select U:
- Folder: type \\zac.its.uow.edu.au\username
*
- Click different user name
- User name: aduow\username
- Password: [Your email/unix
password]
- Click OK
- Click OK
*Note: You have to
replace username with your email/unix user id.
