ICDM 2014 Workshop: Data Mining in Medical Imaging (DMMI)
December 14, 2014, Shenzhen
News:
The final program of the workshop is now available. You can find it here.
Overview (Call-For-Paper)
Data Mining
in Medical Imaging (DMMI) is a workshop held with ICDM 2014 in Shenzhen,
China.
Data
mining plays an essential role in the medical imaging field, including
computer-aided diagnosis, image segmentation, image registration, image
fusion, image-guided therapy, image annotation, and image database
retrieval. The main scope of this workshop is to help advance the
scientific research within the broad field of data mining in medical
imaging.
Objective
This
workshop focuses on major trends and challenges in this area, and presents
work aimed to identify new cutting-edge techniques and their use in medical
imaging. We hope the workshop to become a new platform for translating
research from bench to bedside.
Topics
of interest
Topics
of interests include, but are not limited to, data mining methods (e.g., machine learning and statistical
methods, high-dimensional
and spatio-temporal mining methods, graph or network mining methods, multi-modality mining methods,
etc.) with their applications to medical image analysis, computer-aided
diagnosis, multi-modality fusion, image
reconstruction/retrieval, cellular image analysis, and molecular/
pathologic image analysis, etc.
