Submission
of support requests can be done via the following
URL: http://www.support.informatics.uow.edu.au.
Select Request Support from the list of available
links.
This process
varies depending on the web browser you are currently
using. Instructions are currently provided for
the
following:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer
5.x/6.x/7.x
- Netscape Navigator 4.x-7.x
- Firefox 1.x-2.x
- Safari
You will need to authenticate
yourself to the request tracking system, you use
your UNIX/Email username and password in order to
do this.
After logging in and selecting the appropriate school
you wish to submit a request within you will be
asked to enter the some further details regarding
your request. If the option is available please
ensure you select the appropriate type of request
for your problem. However if your request does not
map onto an appropriate category please select Other.
Upon submission of your request you will receive
an email confirmation containing a ticket number
and some further details which you can use for future
correspndence regarding this request.
A support staff member will be assigned to your
request who will then follow up the request with
you via email (prefered), phone or in person.
Comments and suggestions regarding the request tracking
system would be greatly appreciated. You can submit
these via http://www.support.informatics.uow.edu.au,
and select Submit a Suggestion to the Support
Staff. |
